These markets provide a variety of home made wares, skin care products, jewellery, food and some good old fashioned Rawleighs products. Local honey and home grown plants can also be found here. Food and drinks are available and the makings from this, as well as the stalls fees, are donated to help host the yearly event of the Country Music Festival.

Betoota Horse and Motorbike Gymkhana

The annual Betoota Horse and Motorbike Gymkhana brings Australia's smallest town alive. Watch bushmen and women compete in exercises of true horsemanship and skillful dirt bike riding. Saturday you can expect barrel racing, flagging plus much more at the Horse Gymkhana followed by Motorbike Enduro later in the afternoon.

Tambo Teddy Bears Picnic

This is where you’ll find those unexpected gems, the funky hand tooled or crafted specialties, homemade treats, jams and sauces, candles and scents, organic fruit and veg.

Adventurethon Charters Towers

Following from the fun, frivolity, and spirited competition of the inaugural event in 2018, we will once again see an awesome course set around the scenic Burdekin River. An exciting paddle course, that may include some small rapids, will set the event in motion and lead participants towards a relatively straight forward (not technical) mountain bike leg.
