Anzac Day Charters Towers

November 4x4 Come and Try Day

Keen to try out your new 4x4 and don't know where to go? Had a 4x4 for years and have run out of new places? Don't have anyone to go with? CT 4x4 Club Come and Try Day allows novice and experienced drivers an area to test their vehicles in a range of terrain including soft sand and rocky outcrops, with the surety of having experienced Four Wheel Drive Queensland members on-hand to assist and guide where required or just for recovery.

Back to the 40s - Big Band and Dance

‘Back to the 40s’ will celebrate Cloncurry, and the Outback’s, unique role as a military base of operations during World War 2. Cloncurry was an important base and refuelling stop for United States B-17 Flying Fortresses, Dutch forces evacuating Java, and Australian forces.
